IUP softball defeated Bloomsburg in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Super Regional, May 20 and 21, 2011, at Podbielski Field on IUP’s South Campus.
The Crimson Hawks won the first two games of the best-of-three series, coming from behind in the seventh inning in both. Find full game reports on the IUP Athletics website.
They now will move on to the College World Series, May 26–30, in Salem, Va. This will be the first trip to the world series for the Crimson Hawks, whose record stands at 38-6.
