Congratulations on your acceptance to IUP! Next steps for admitted students are outlined below.

Fall 2013 International Student Orientation will held August 19 through August 23, 2013. Spring 2014 International Student Orientation will be held January 21 through January 24, 2014.

Next Steps for Admitted Students

  1. Receive an admissions packet (Request Express Mail).
  2. Pay the SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) fee and apply/make an appointment for your visa.
  3. Learn more about IUP:
  4. Make flight and housing arrangements. Housing in Indiana can be hard to find. If you do not make housing arrangements in advance, you may need to stay in a hotel upon your arrival. The Office of International Education does not make housing arrangements for students.
  5. Submit the “International Orientation Arrival Form” in URSA (IUP Computer Account). After receiving your visa and making flight plans, follow instructions for logging into URSA. In URSA, choose “Student Services” and then “International Orientation Arrival Form.” E-mail questions to intl-education@iup.edu.
  6. Arrive on or prior to International Orientation. Learn more about transportation to the U.S. and IUP.
