2011 Summer Internship at CWM Environmental (Kittanning, PA)

Applications are being accepted for a 2011 summer internship at CWM Environmental in Kittanning, PA.

The Summer Internship (May 2011) position is for a Lab Analyst. Duties would include but are not limited to:

  1. Perform Wet Chemistry & Microbiological analysis implementing the most current version of lab SOP’s.
  2. Demonstrate a general knowledge of and compliance with the test procedures, NELAP quality control policies, safety procedures, records management, and ethical and legal responsibilities.
  3. Maintain thorough knowledge of drinking water requirements, sample handling, sample storage as well as sample holding times.
  4. Perform initial review of all the test data that is generated and promptly inform of any unusual trend in the parameters to the supervisor.
  5. Maintain accountability and personal responsibility for the data generated.
  6. Perform sample collection and other fieldwork as required.
  7. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
