Procedures for Submitting Notes

How to Submit Your Notes

The note-taker is required to provide the Advising and Testing Center with a copy of his or her notes once a week. The note-taker can have his or her notes copied for free by coming into the Advising and Testing Center (216 Pratt Hall).

Getting your notes copied

  • Note-takers are responsible for bringing in notes to the Advising and Testing Center to be copied once each week and the class period before any tests. Our office is located in 216 Pratt Hall, and one of the front desk employees can make the copies for you. The student with a disability will come to the Advising and Testing center to pick up the notes.
  • If you decide to make alternate arrangements for notes (for example, typing notes and e-mailing them directly to the student or using NCR paper—available in the ADVT office), you must let Rebecca Lemmel know as soon as possible.

Log and Time Sheets

  • Note-takers should fill out the sign-in log in the Advising and Testing Center each time they bring in notes to be copied.

Submitting Notes Electronically

The note-taker is also able to submit notes electronically. We are no longer accepting notes via e-mail. A note-taker is not required to come into the office if they submit the notes through the I: drive. Please follow these instructions if you wish to submit notes electronically.
