Hydrocise and Aquacise: Weeks of December 13, 2010, through January 13, 2011
Hydrocise
Take part in one hour of sure tension diffusion with Hydrocise. This aquatic exercise mixes medium and high impacts to give the body a great total body workout. This water-assisted exercise provides a perfect ending to a hectic week. Non-swimmers welcome.
Day/Time: Mondays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Group Aqua Exercise Instructor
Tami is a local resident of the Indiana area. Her love of aquatic activities began while she was in junior high school. Some of her past activities include competitive swimming, teaching lessons, and water fitness. She enjoys aquatic exercise, and that led her to teaching several aquatics-related activities. Some of the fitness classes she has taught are AquaAerobics, Swimnastics, Group Fitness, and Aqua Arthritis.
Aquacise
This program uses the buoyant qualities of water to enhance physical fitness through exercises. It is a medium-impact water class designed to provide cardiovascular conditioning, improved muscle tone, and improved balance. It is a total body workout without the stress of land-based exercise. Non-swimmers welcome!

Brazil Butt/Bosu and Zumba: Weeks of December 13, 2010, through January 13, 2011 (No class the week of December 27)
Brazil Butt/Bosu
This is a two-part class. The first half hour is getting your rear in gear! Sculpt and reshape your butt to tighten and tone every inch for a great new look. You will receive TriAngle Training, which works three major muscles and will also work the back of the thighs and saddlebag area. This workout gives every type of butt shape a lift and firms the shape of the butt by using multiple angles. Time to have a beautiful booty! The second half hour will reshape your body. This power packed group of exercises will build strength and endurance on a dome-shaped trainer. It will challenge your balance and flexibility, plus give a cardio workout.

Dawnette has worked in the Athletic Department at IUP for nine years. She has been involved with sports for many years, and coached high school volleyball for two different schools. She is also been a Dragonfly Fitness model since 2008. The enjoyment of being active with fitness, music, and dancing has led her to get certified in many different types of Zumba, a workout dance party that is fun!
Zumba
A Latin-inspired dance fitness class. This fitness program is designed for “everyone” and requires no dance background. It is easy, effective, and addicting! The music is intoxicating, energetic, and exhilarating, so you are burning calories and sculpting your body without knowing it. Finally, an exercise program that is fun and not boring! Give it a try and see what everyone is talking about. Zumba—it's a blast!
