Finding a Book

Finding a book in the library is easy!

There are two ways to search for a book in the library:

Online Catalog

  • Log onto the library website.
  • Cick on Online Catalog.
  • Search by book title, author, subject heading, call number, etc.
  • When you find the book you want, click on the title that is highlighted in blue and underlined. This will bring up the information about the book.
  • From here, you can either write down the Call Number, or you can text the Call Number to your cell phone. This number will help you locate your book in the stacks.

If you cannot find the book you are looking for, please come to the Circulation Desk and someone will assist you.

Reference Desk

If you are a first time user, stop by the Reference Desk for assistance. The Reference Desk is staffed with librarians ready to assist you in finding materials that will help you with your research.

If the library doesn’t have the book you are looking for, and you are a tuition-paying student or faculty or staff member, you can order the book through Interlibrary Loan using either PALCI or ILLIAD.
