Sponsored Programs Award for Outstanding Achievement in Curriculum and Instruction: Dr. Melvin Jenkins of the Department of Developmental Studies is the winner of this award.

Sponsored Programs Award for Outstanding Achievement in Public Service: This award was presented to Dr. John Engler, director of the Pennsylvania/OSHA Consultation Program and Safety Sciences faculty member.
Graduate Dean's Award for Outstanding Commitment to Sponsored Programs: Dr. Calvin Masilela, professor of Geography and Regional Planning, is the recipient of this award.
New Investigator Award: New Geoscience faculty member, Jonathan Lewis, has won this award.

Graduate Dean's Award for Outstanding Commitment to Sponsored Programs: Dr. Helen Sitler, Associate Professor of English, won this award.
New Investigator Award: Dr. Theresa R. McDevitt, Professor of IUP Libraries, was chosen as the New Investigator.

Sponsored Programs Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research: This was awarded to Dr. Dasen Luo, Associate Professor of Psychology.
Sponsored Programs Award for Outstanding Achievement in Curriculum and Instruction: This was awarded to seven professors in the Criminology and Computer Science departments.

Sponsored Program Award for Outstanding Achievement in Public Service: Dr. Christine Black, Associate Professorof Health and Physical Education, won this award.
Graduate Dean's Award for Outstanding Commitment to Sponsored Programs: Mr. Chris Weiland, Professor of Art, was selected for this award.
New Investigator Award: Dr. Kathryn Bonach, Assistant Professor of Sociology, was named New Investigator.

Sponsored Programs Award for Outstanding Achievement in Public Service: Dr. Charles McCollester, Director of the Pennsylvania Center for the Study of Labor Relations, and Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations, was the recipient of this award.
Graduate Dean's Award for Outstanding Commitment to Sponsored Programs: Six professors from Chemistry, Biology and Physics won this award for the WMD project.
