Parents and Families of First-Year Students:

    • Program check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday April 9 or April 23, main lobby of Sprowls Hall on the Indiana campus.
    • Your parent and family orientation fee includes lunch on day one, late afternoon refreshment breaks on each day, light continental breakfast on the morning of both days, as well as staffing, materials, and materials preparation.
    • Please re-confirm your hotel arrangements, as there is no on-campus housing provided for the Spring orientations. If you need to make hotel reservations, visit our list of area lodging accommodations.

    Parking Information

During Orientation, students may park free of charge at unreserved spaces (space numbers 315–425) in the parking garage. These spaces are located on the third and fourth floors of the parking garage.

Other than the unreserved spaces on the third and fourth floors of the IUP parking garage, if you choose to park at a meter—or pay-by-space location—either on campus or in town, you must put coins in the meter, or you will receive a ticket.

    Handicapped Parking

Persons with a handicapped license plate or placard and those with a special parking permit are permitted to park in handicapped spaces.

    Travel Directions

Please note: We have several exciting construction projects going on. Read the following carefully. For the most up-to-date directions to campus, please look at Map, Directions, and Parking. The construction map on this website should be reviewed and printed for your travel. You may also print the parking map, as long as you use it with the construction map. Be sure to follow the directions on your parking permit.
