Currently on display at the IUP Libraries, “We Remember 9/11” documents the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., as well as the crash of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pa., on September 11, 2001.
Using photographs, books, magazines, newspaper clippings, and artist renditions, the display reflects on the destruction, local response to the tragedy, and plans for future memorials at the sites.
Also on display are portraits of the three former IUP students who perished in the Twin Towers.
“We Remember 9/11” is located on the first floor of Stapleton Library, and will remain on display through September 17, 2010.
