Dr. John Kuehn, professor of Music and a University Professor, is one of eight finalists in the 2010 SmartMusic Music Education essay contest. The winner will be determined by the amount of people who go to the SmartMusic Website and vote for his essay.
The winner will receive $2,000, and Dr. Kuehn hopes to use the prize money to support his 2012 sabbatical project to start a band program in a school in southern India. Dr. Kuehn asks that anyone reading this notice would be so kind as to go to the following link and vote for him. Thank you!
