The IUP Student Diversity Association is planning a diversity resource conference for Monday, September 27, 2010, in the Hadley Union Building.
The purpose of the diversity resource conference is to provide networking opportunities for IUP students with administrators and members of the faculty. Various offices and departments, such as Financial Aid, Housing, the Counseling Center, and others, will be invited to provide information to students in areas such as time management, study skills, how to choose a major, and other topics of importance to first-year students.
The Student Diversity Association, chaired by Felicia Moore, graduate student in Adult and Community Education, serves as the university’s main resource for diversity with student organizations on campus.
