Lowery Presents at U.S. Justice Department Conference

Dr. John Wesley Lowery, associate professor in Student Affairs in Higher Education, recently presented a Clery Act Training at the Campus Training and Technical Assistance Institute sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, and the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault in Las Vegas.

Dr. Lowery was part of multidisciplinary team that presented a day-long program on the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Dr. Lowery was also one of the subject matter experts who worked with Security on Campus to develop the curriculum for this workshop, which was funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women.
