The Drexel University Nursing Education Institute was held June 21–24, 2010, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The following faculty members from the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions gave poster presentations at the conference:
- Christina Silva, MSN, BSN, presented her poster on The Use of Simulation in Maternity Clinical.
- Theresa Gropelli, Ph.D., GCNS-BC, ACNS-BC, CMSRN, RN, NHA, presented her poster on Community Health Fair as a Service Learning Project in Adult Health.
- Teresa Shellenbarger, Ph.D., RN, CNE, ANEF, presented a poster on Demystifying the Doctoral Nursing Degree.
- Dr. Shellenbarger also copresented with Julie L. Decker, M.S., RN (MSN alumna). Their presentation was Investigating the Presence of Horizontal Hostility among Nursing Students.
