The IUP Health Service announces the following immunizations available for Summer 2010:
Meningitis
Any currently enrolled student desiring a meningitis immunization can come to the health center during regular hours and sign in to be seen as a walk-in patient. Meningitis shots will also be given at the health center on move-in Saturday at the beginning of the semester. A fee of $100 will be charged to the student account.
HPV (Gardasil)
HPV vaccine is available on a walk-in basis to currently enrolled students. A fee of $140 will be charged to the student account for each injection.
Tetanus and Diphtheria
Available on a walk-in basis to currently enrolled students. A fee will be charged to the student account.
Hepatitis
Several different variations of hepatitis vaccine are available on a walk-in basis to currently enrolled students. A fee is charged to the student account.
Influenza Immunization (Flu Shots)
Flu shots are normally available in the Fall semester.
TB Testing
This test is available during the summer to any currently enrolled student for a fee of $15. TB testing cannot be done on Thursdays.
Note: All TB testing requires two visits to the student health center. (The student must return in two days for results, or the student will have to repeat the test process.)
All schedules are subject to change with availability of vaccine.
