Shari Robertson, professor of speech-language pathology in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services and dean’s associate in the School of Graduate Studies and Research, presented at the 2010 Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association convention.
Her talk, “The Best of Both Worlds: Meeting Language Goals Using Children’s Literature,” provided information on the language-literacy hierarchy and how to design therapy to meet oral and written language goals within the context of quality children’s literature.
