On May 1, 2010, Dr. Kevin Eisensmith, professor of Trumpet in the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Department of Music and president of the International Trumpet Guild, premiered a new arrangement of Tomaso Albinoni’s “Concerto, Op. 7, No. 6” for solo trumpet and concert band.
This arrangement was penned by David Marlatt, president and owner of Eighth Note Publications (Toronto, Canada). Mr. Marlatt was in attendance for the performance.
The IUP Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Jason Worzbyt, accompanied Eisensmith. This new work will be available through Eighth Note Publications.
