The African American Cultural Center will recognize graduating minority students during its twentieth annual Spring Pre-Commencement Reception and Awards Program on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.
Several awards will be presented on the basis of academic achievement, leadership, community service, and personal accomplishments.
Among the awards presented will be the John B. Russwurm Outstanding Student Award, Carter G. Woodson Outstanding Graduate Student Award, Benjamin S. Carson Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards, John S. Rock Exceptional Leadership and Service Awards, Frederick A. Douglass Human Development Awards, Caroll M. Young Inspiration Award, and the Director’s Special Recognition and Outstanding Service Award.
