The IUP tennis team was selected to the NCAA Atlantic Region tournament and opens postseason play Thursday, May 6, 2010, with a match against Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association champion Shaw. The match will take place at Slippery Rock beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The Crimson Hawks are part of a five-team field that also includes Slippery Rock, Bloomsburg, and West Virginia Wesleyan. Should IUP defeat Shaw, it will take on the Rock next Friday at 3:00 p.m., preceded by the match between the Huskies and Bobcats.
