Kincade Presents on Working with College Students to American College Personnel Association

Dr. Elizabeth A. Kincade, chair/associate professor and psychologist in the IUP Counseling Center, presented at the annual convention of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) in Boston on March 23, 2010. The topic of her educational session was “Working with College Students: A Feminist Therapy and Practice Model.”

This session offered student affairs practitioners a model for using feminist practice across gender and socioeconomic lines. It addressed using feminist awareness in counseling practice as well as in other student affairs venues.

ACPA is one of the two leading professional associations serving over 8,500 student affairs practitioners, graduate preparation faculty members, and graduate students in the student affairs profession.
