2010 Undergraduate Juried Exhibition

Loading...

The Undergraduate Juried Exhibition opens Thursday, April 1, 2010, in Kipp Gallery, located in Sprowls Hall. The exhibit features works by undergraduate students in the Department of Art.

An opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The reception will held in conjunction with the awards ceremony for the Undergraduate Scholars Forum.

Our juried exhibition showcases the best and most creative works from the Art Department’s undergraduate class. This year’s juror, Lenore Thomas, is an assistant professor of printmaking at the University of Pittsburgh. She is also half of the collaborative team of Satan’s Camaro, which presented an exhibit in Kipp Gallery last semester.

For this exhibit, Thomas has chosen a diverse selection of pieces, including painting, sculpture, metals, and digital projection.

The reception and exhibit are free. Regular hours for Kipp Gallery are noon to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. The exhibit runs through April 9.
