Malinda Cowles (Center for Health and Well-Being, IUP) and Rita Drapkin (Counseling Center, IUP), along with Catherine Massey (Psychology Department, Slippery Rock) will be presenting a Train-the-Trainers Workshop for the Safe Zone Program at the Dixon Center in Harrisburg on March 18 and 19, 2010.
The workshop is designed to help other PASSHE campuses, as well as the Dixon Center, start or improve their Safe Zone programs. The Safe Zone programs provide visibility and support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex individuals and their Allies (LGBTQIA) on our campuses.
The workshop is cosponsored by the PASSHE LGBTQIA Consortium and the Office of the Chancellor.
