Undergraduate and graduate students from the Department of Geography and Regional Planning attended the Local Government Academy Internship Fair on February 17, 2010, at Carnegie Mellon University.
The Local Government Academy is a independent nonprofit organization promoting excellence in local government. The internship fair was held to allow students from regional universities to interview for internship positions at municipalities in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
The IUP students who attended the fair were undergraduates Devin Creighton and Nkemka Uche and graduate students Tye Desiderio, Nick Holdzkom, and Greg Kuckuk.
