Dr. John Wesley Lowery, associate professor of Student Affairs in Higher Education, was a keynote speaker at the recent Linda B. Floyd Campus Safety Conference in Charleston, S.C.
The conference, sponsored by the South Carolina Higher Education Foundation and the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, brought together campus law enforcement and student affairs professionals to collaborate to help create safer campuses. Lowery’s keynote presentation was titled “Washington’s Perspective: Federal Regulation and Campus Safety.”
