Free Planetarium Show: Astronomy Short Stories

On Wednesday evening, December 9, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., students from the IUP Stellar Astronomy class will present “Astronomy Short Stories,” a series of several short presentations in the IUP Planetarium. These include a look at orbiting telescopes, deep space objects, the sky of the arctic North, and finding the way out of the woods using astronomy. Come and see the originality and knowledge in these student presentations. The show is free and open to the public.

Seating for the shows is first-come, first-seated; it's not feasible for us to take advance reservations. If you want to bring a large group (ten or more people), please contact us so we can discuss how to accommodate you, as seating is limited. 724-357-5626 or kcoles@iup.edu.

Future planetarium shows are scheduled on February 24 and April 22, 2010.
