The Office of Social Equity and Civic Engagement, along with the College of Education and Educational Technology, will cosponsor the twelfth annual statewide PA-NAME conference on March 26–27, 2010.
Recent gains in social equity have led to the perception that we have achieved a more just society. However, the optimism has to be tempered by the fact that complacency is not in order. There remain deep divisons that must be overcome.
Presenters will offer solutions about how their work, research, program initiatives, and awareness-raising move us toward a more equitable society.
