Oracle Corporation, the world’s largest business software company, recently recognized IUP for excellence achieved in the usage of the Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) product suite. IUP utilizes OEM to help administer its Banner environment and several related applications.
IUP was one of three individual universities included in the Oracle Open World Enterprise Manager Appreciation Event, joining Stanford University and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Several major corporations were recognized with IUP. These included General Electric, Comcast, and Nokia, as well as major information technology vendors like Dell, Intel, and Sun Microsystems.
