Robertson Presented at Manitoba Speech-Language-Hearing Association Conference

Shari Robertson, professor of speech-language pathology in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services, was an invited speaker at the Manitoba Speech-Language Hearing Association conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The conference was held on May 21 and 22, 2009, and typically draws about 3,000 people annually.

Dr. Robertson conducted four presentations on the following topics:

  • Got EQ? Increasing Clinical Competence Through Emotional Intelligence
  • Counseling in Communicative Disorders: Putting the Person First
  • I Used to Have a Handle on Life, But it Broke! (Strategies for Saving Time, Reducing Stress, and Enjoying your Job More!)
