Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Haunted House and Maze Tour

The African American Cultural Center of Indiana University of Pennsylvania presents an opportunity for participants to display their artist skills and celebrate the 2009 Halloween season at its first Pumpkin Decorating Contest, held on Friday, October 30, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Haunted House tour at Haunted Hollow at Yarnick’s Farm.

Haunted House attendees will meet at 8:00 p.m. at the AACC, depart by 8:30 p.m. from the AACC for the Haunted House (transportation provided), and will return to IUP at approximately 11:00 p.m. Participants can choose to journey through the maze and visit the Haunted House, or sit by the bonfire with others, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy various other food items that will be available at Yarnick’s Farm for purchase.

Admission is free for the IUP community (or $6 for non-IUP members), but space and transportation are limited! To reserve your seat or for more information, please call the AACC at 724-357-2455. Reservations will be taken until all seats are filled.
