I am saddened to inform you of the passing of Shawn Williams, 21, of Lucernemines (near Homer City), a student in the College of Health and Human Services. Shawn died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at his home.
Obviously the death of any member of the IUP community is tragic and difficult to bear for members of the IUP community. I am sure you join me in expressing concern and sympathy for Shawn’s friends and family.
The IUP Counseling Center provides counseling to students. Students may make an appointment by calling 724-357-2621 or by visiting the center at the Suites on Maple East, Room G31, during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
