Some last-minute schedule changes resulted in the Monday, October 19, 2009, hosting by Ms. Rita Evans, who will discuss “Financial Literacy” as part of the Six O’Clock Series. Previously, Dr. Kelly Mack was scheduled to present on the topic of “Women in Science.” Unfortunately, that program has been postponed.
Dr. Mack, part of the NSF’s ADVANCE Women in Science Program, is not able to be at IUP on October 19. The Six O’Clock Series Office is working to re-schedule her visit to IUP.
The lecture series will be held on Monday, October 19, with Ms. Rita Evans from the American Educational Services. Ms. Evans will discuss not only financial aid but also overall financial issues relevant to college students.
The Six O’Clock Series website has been updated, and posters reflecting the new schedule have been posted.
