Proving that the Common Freshman Reader is a universitywide academic exercise, eight graduate students have had their book review of Make the Impossible Possible accepted for publication.
The Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved will publish “Strickland’s Make the Impossible Possible Resonates with Health Care Leaders” by Audra Palmo, Chris Baum, Donna Pike, Gale Noonan, Heidi Buterbaugh, Jennie Feight, Nashat Zuraikat, Polly Davis, and Sonya Arotin.
Dr. Nashat Zuraikat is a faculty member and graduate coordinator for Nursing and Allied Health yet admitted the majority of the publication was the creation of the student authors, all of whom are August 2009 graduates of the Master of Science in Health Services Administration program at IUP. This program is a collaboration between the Employment and Labor Relations and Nursing and Allied Health Professions departments.
The review is scheduled for inclusion in the November 2009 issue (JHCPU 20.4). Congratulations to the authors on their scholarly publication!
