Join us for an exciting workshop on the power of effective communication! The Center for Teaching Excellence presents “I See What You're Saying” on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Crimson Event Center in Folger Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What does your body language and nonverbal communication tell people about you? Can you detect the emotions of your students and colleagues through their body language and facial expressions? Can you discern when someone is not telling the truth? Mr. Frank Marsh, a prominent speaker and facilitator, will demonstrate effective communication strategies and will teach us how to hone our own and our students’ visual critical thinking skills.

Frank is a communication analyst and a former Marine Corps Intelligence Officer. As a trainer for the Department of Justice’s National Drug Intelligence Center, he has taught special agents, intelligence analysts, police officers, and investigators from around the world the power of effective communication. Always entertaining and adept at actively engaging his audience, Frank is a frequent presenter to corporations, associations, and universities on effective communication, reading body language, and detecting deception. He is a certified handwriting analyst, and last year Frank was featured on the History Channel’s Secrets of Body Language. Don't miss this one! Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 27!
