Christopher Thompson, a senior Music Education major (trumpet), has just had his first work accepted for publication.
His four-movement composition, entitled "Coral Reef," was written for trumpet quartet. It has been accepted for publication by Eighth Note Publications of Toronto, Canada. Eighth Note Publications is a leading seller of music for trumpet ensembles and has a worldwide following.
Chris is from Sinking Spring, Pa., and is a student of Dr. Kevin Eisensmith.
