International Friendship Program

Consider being part of the International Friendship Program.

Interested in helping international students feel welcome in the U.S. and learning about their culture at the same time? Consider being part of the International Friendship Program.

The International Friendship Program is a program sponsored by the Office of International Education that seeks to promote international understanding by matching an Indiana area family or individual with one or more IUP international students.

Hosts are asked to try to get together with their student(s) once a month. Take your student for coffee, cook a meal together, or take a trip to Pittsburgh.

If interested, please attend our Fall 2009 Match-up Meeting and Lunch: Sunday, September 13, 1 p.m. HUB, Susquehanna Room. Applications will be completed at the event.
