Two Biochemistry undergraduate majors received research awards from the IUP School of Graduate Studies and Research to support their research this semester.
- Li Yin Wong was awarded $149 for her project “Characterization of the Baker’s Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) Srs2 Helicase Features Essential for Regulation of Homologous Recombination” with Dr. Jana Villemain.
- James Zewe was awarded $150 for his project “Production, Purification, and Detection of Mouse Growth Hormone Binding Protein” with Dr. Jon Southard.
