Nanotechnology Lecture: Impact on Science and Future Careers

All science majors are invited to a presentation by Dr. Jamie Houseknecht of Penn State University on nanotechnology aimed at discussing recent advancements in the field, its impact on the sciences, and how you can prepare for a career in this ever-changing field.

The presentation is on Friday, September 18, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. in Weyandt Hall, room 331. Light refreshments will be provided.

Dr. Houseknecht will discuss how you can increase your annual salary by $10,000 to $20,000 via a one-semester program at Penn State, where you gain clean room experience, work with the latest instrumentation, and prepare for internships. See Nano4me.org for more details.
