Dr. Steve Hovan from the Department of Geoscience and colleagues are currently aboard the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program drillship JOIDES Resolution in the Equatorial Pacific.
They will be at sea for two months, and are drilling into the ocean floor in search of evidence of Earth’s climate history.
