The Industrial and Labor Relations Department has been contacted about an HR Manager position for the Sotland Group.
This job will support the plant in California, Labor Relations: being the liaison with the union, contract negotiations, etc. This person will also oversee the plant manager, who needs a flexible, tactful touch. Need an HR person with heavy Labor Relations experience. This person should have experience being the “first chair” contract negotiator. Must be tactful and flexible and be a smooth manager (not a “feather ruffler”). Client desires five years’ minimum experience, preferably with a master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR). The company will relocate the right person.
