Dr. Katie Farnsworth and Dr. Steve Hovan participated as science judges for the 2009 Penguin Bowl. This year’s competition was held at Youngstown State University on Saturday, February 21. Sixteen high school teams from across the region competed in an Ocean Sciences quiz bowl.
The Penguin Bowl is a regional competition of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl held each year.
