Mr. Merrell is a professor of painting at Carnegie Mellon University who also has an extensive solo and two-person exhibition record. He has participated in many national and international exhibitions and has been the recipient of numerous awards and grants. Talk by Mr. Merrell on February 5 in G43 of Delaney Hall (formerly Suites on Grant) and a free public reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Kipp Gallery, Sprowls Hall.
