Dr. Beverly Goodwin, director of Doctoral Training, just returned from two meetings that help the IUP Psychology doctoral program remain at the cutting edge of professional clinical education. The first meeting was the 2009 Midwinter Meetings of the Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The theme was “The Missed Match and Related Dilemmas of Clinical Training.” The second meeting was the 2009 Midwinter Meeting of the National Council of Schools and Programs in Professional Psychology in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The theme was “Leadership: Preparation and Transformation.”
