The IUP Office of International Affairs held its biannual pre-departure meeting for these outbound students in Spring 2009. This semester’s event was held in the Crimson Event Center on Saturday December 6, 2008. Topics covered include:
- Safety, Security and Life as an American Abroad
- Packing and Airport Security
- Financial Aid
- Credit Transfer
- Health Center
- Sexual Assault
- Counseling Center
- Regional break-out sessions, which included returning study abroad students, international students, and international faculty members from those countries.
