The Center for Health and Well-Being will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from December 15 through December 23, 2008. The center will close from December 24, 2008, through January 3, 2009, and will resume regular business hours on January 5, 2009.
Counseling Center
The Counseling Center will be closed from December 15, 2008, through January 9, 2009, and resume regular hours beginning January 12, 2009. In case of emergency, please go to Indiana Regional Medical Center or call University Police at 724-357-2141 or dial 911.
Health Service
The last day of Fall patient care for IUP students is Friday, December 12, 2008. No patient care is available after December 12 until the Spring semester resumes on January 12, 2009.
Students needing medical care during the semester break can present to the Indiana Regional Medical Center Emergency Department or to the physician of their choice. The two off-campus local walk-in clinics will be available throughout most of the semester break. The Indiana Walk-In Clinic is on South 5th Street at 724-463-1410, and the Walk-In Clinic is on Oakland Avenue near Rustic Lodge at 724-349-8660.
The administrative office is open throughout the semester break except for December 24 through January 2, when it is closed for the holidays.
