Dr. Carmy Carranza’s poster session at the fifteenth National Conference on Students in Transition displayed the research outcomes on the retention of students participating in a formal, credit-bearing early entrance experience compared to nonparticipants. The conference was sponsored by the national Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition in Columbia, S.C., in November 2008.
