During the Fall semester, the IUP Marching Band will still practice on the R&P lot. In past years, however, the back three-quarters of the lot had to be vacated by 4:00 p.m. or vehicles would be towed. This year, the lot will have to be vacated by 5:00 p.m.
The front portion of the lot is not restricted. There is signage that separates the two areas. Vehicles are not towed on Tuesdays or Thursdays, as the band does not practice on the lot on those days.
Right across from the R&P/band parking lot is a new parking area that will be in place for the Fall semester. The area is located off of Glass Street by the tennis courts. Twenty-five spaces will be placed along Glass Street. The spaces will be designated as faculty/staff/commuter, which is the same designation as the R&P/band parking lot.
