Simmons Speaking at Lyme Disease and Tick Awareness Mini-Seminar

Tom Simmons, disease and vector ecologist in the Department of Biology, is an invited speaker at the Lyme Disease and Tick Awareness Mini-Seminar to be held on Wednesday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m. at the Indiana Elks Lodge.

Other speakers include Chris Reidmiller, wildlife conservation officer, Pennsylvania Game Commission; Donna Balewick (MD), assistant director of Emergency Services, Indiana Regional Medical Center; and Ross Frazer (DVM, MD), Frazer Veterinary Group.

Simmons and Tammy Curry, the seminar’s organizer, appeared on the WDAD AM 1450 Indiana in the Morning with Todd Marino radio show on August 15 to promote the seminar.
