Artistic spirit will fly high in hundreds of decorated flags in the Oak Grove at IUP on Sunday, September 28, when Indiana and IUP host the Governor’s Awards for the Arts.

Students in K-12 schools began decorating flags in early June, more schools will participate in August/September, and flags will be available for adults and kids to decorate at the Indiana County Fair (August 24–30), the Northern Appalachian Folk Festival (Indiana, September 5–6), and more locales this summer.
