Yang Presents Asian Pacific American Cultural Criticism at MELUS Conference

Lingyan Yang, associate professor in the English Department and director of the Women’s Studies program, presented a paper, “A Brief Intellectual History of Asian Pacific American Cultural Criticism,” and reported as vice president and program chair at the 2014 MELUS national conference on March 6–9 in Oklahoma City.

MELUS stands for Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature of the United States.

Yang also completed her duties as a member of the MELUS executive committee to finish a national search for the new editor for the journal of MELUS this academic year.
