Annual and Personal Leave Carryover Reminder

AFSCME, Management, OPEIU, PSSU, SCUPA, PDA, and SPFPA Employees:

Annual Leave Carryover hours in excess of the maximum amount allowed to be carried into the new calendar leave year, and not used by April 18, 2014, will be automatically converted to sick leave, up to the maximum amount of permitted sick leave accumulation.

Annual Leave Carryover hours will be exhausted first, as Annual Leave is used through April 18, 2014.  You can view your excess "Annual Leave Carryover" balance on the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal.

The maximum amount of Annual Leave allowed to be carried into the new calendar leave year is 45 days, or 337.50 hours for 75-hour bi-weekly employees; and 45 days, or 360 hours for 80-hour bi-weekly employees. 

Personal Leave Carryover hours from 2013 may be used through April 18, 2014. 

Personal Leave Carryover hours will be exhausted first, as Personal Leave is used through April 18, 2014. Any Personal Leave Carryover hours not used by April 18, 2014 will be lost by all employees. You can view your "Personal Leave Carryover" balance on the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal.
