Register Now for Noncredit Fiction and Poetry Workshops

Community University Studies is offering two noncredit workshops in both fiction and poetry. Participants are encouraged to bring their own stories to class for discussion.

In “Fiction Workshop,” students will explore the fundamentals of fiction writing. In-class writing exercises will be conducted to help students practice the craft, and students are encouraged to bring their own works to share.

“Poetry Workshop” will explore the fundamentals of poetry writing. Sessions will feature brief discussions on the elements of poetry, each week with a different theme to guide discussion. In-class writing exercises will be conducted to practice the craft and to hone writing skills. Students are encouraged to bring their own stories to be discussed by the class.
